Dear Shakespeare admirers,
My name is Lukas and I am from the Czech Republic. I am writing a diploma thesis comparing the Royal Shakespeare Company's Hamlet (2008/2009) and Peter Brook's The Tragedy of Hamlet (2000). I would like to ask you for the following:
I am looking for all PRINTED reviews of both of these plays (especially Peter Brook's). As I am from the Czech Republic, my access to printed journals and media in the UK (or anywhere else for that matter) is quite limited. I have some search results from various academic databases but I would really like to have at least some reviews from printed media.
I will be most grateful for any review that you can scan and send to my email: [email protected]
Please include information about the journal/newspaper/magazine the review is taken from (name, issue, day/year of printing). If you wish to be thanked in my thesis, just give me your name and I will be happy to do so – it is the least I can do.
Thank you very much in advance for any help you can give me. I have posted this message at various websites. I will try to check back here once in a while but I may not be able to do so. Therefore please use my email address above. Thanks again!
Warm regards,
Lukas K.
