I liked the self depracation of your self deception, but line 4 broke the flow for me

Thanks for commenting Jerry. I was trying to convey that it was by choice, and not because of the lack of capacity to see things as they really are. I wanted that point to stand out, but in hindsight it might be better if I delete that 4th line altogether.
