Warning - do not adjust your eyes!
It's the Litnet formatting engine Delta - you should know better than to shoot the piano player

Maybe it would be best to adjust the font

Man, this had to be a ***** to format on Litnet. I hit quote just to see what it looks like--even more insane than the final product!

The only poem I've read all week. I am strangely satisfied with this selection. Although, I wish it were a skunk, because I LOVE the smell of skunk. (Yeah, I'm weird like that.)

Thankyou Alexander III - it could be a font problem too
Thankyou Mutatis-Mutandi - I nearly had second thoughts about not formatting - but once I hit the first bold letter it was too late and I had to see it through to its insane chaotic conclusion
Thankyou PrinceMyshkin - you'd still have to feed it, and that can run into the zillions of insects!
Thankyou everyadventure - one drunk skunk coming up! (or four)
Thankyou JB - maybe, not sure, I think everyone has their moments in the bath or while dreaming - just what they choose to do with them (but hey, a compliment's a compliment - should snatch 'em up when they come around...)

I am having suspicions of genius about you.

This might be the first ransom note ever presented as a poem.
On the other hand, the perps could've written it the conventional way. If they didn't have a pen or pencil handy, they could've used one of the porcupine's quills!
Oh, I kid. You're one of the most original LitNutters we
have. (Also, the most ambitious and forthright. You don't want to hear the kinds of #%*&! you'd hear if I were to try similiar font experimentation with our PC, " Pong 2.0.)

I liked the ransom note style as well.
It was very enjoyable despite the strain on the old glazzies. The only downside is that the format somewhat diminished the other visual effects you brought into the work. It certainly has "replay" value.

Thanks Aunty - you needn't worry about formatting - I did it in order no-one need bother trying it ever again - it's certainly the last time for me (life being so short and all)
Thanks deryk - I did think of doing it as a picture from a variety of fonts - and then I thought, no, it still needs to be printable in some representative way, so that the words still have import over the impact - as long as the basic idea comes across that's the main thing
I mean I could have coloured, resized and changed each letter to one of the fonts available, but the colour would look naff against the beige background of Litnet, wouldn't show up if you copy and pasted it into wordpad, sizing changes spacing, and too many font shifts - well...
Thanks again everyone :)
