I can see your candle burning fifty miles away
but only on a clear, dark night.
When the wind carries me there,
your windows will crack
at five thousand kilometres per hour.
I ache for you because a man's vocal chords
are much longer than mine will ever be.
We match like two redheads.
The size of our feet is the same length
as our forearms.
Our brains are seventy four percent water
and more active sleeping than when watching tv.
We both cried without tears till we were six weeks old.
Like chilli, freezing my love will not alter its heat.

This reads sort of like a love poem, yet there's that longing pining yearning to it like a country song

And then you drop the bomb!

It's to your brother, though it seems like twins, but familial regardless

I like it - I like its certain bits like the redhead matches, sleeping but active brains

This is a great example of Deltaesquenessesity in your unique understated Deltese way

I like the flow
softly and slowly.

Hi Delta: a great poem about affinity, but did you mean:

"When the wind carries me there,
your windows will crack
at five thousand kilometres per hour."

or

"When the wind carries me there
at five thousand kilometres per hour,
your windows will crack."?

and why "Libra Love"? I agree with MM that it apears to be about "a twin" rather than a relationship in balance. Wouldn't Gemini have been better? :D

Hawk: I meant that glass actually cracks at 5000 km's per hour. To understand why I know this (hence my title) perhaps this link will enlighten you..... http://blogs.smh.com.au/radar/archives/2004/11/pad_trivia.html

Yuka: Your comment is more appropriate than you realize!
