Hello, why is that this forum has a poetry games sub-forum but not a short story games sub-forum?
I think making one will be a great idea those who want to hone their writing skills in a collective manner. However, of course, I mean this in a non-competitive way.
Why do I would like for there to be one is for diverse reasons. First is for my own personal gain because I really want to improve my writing as my English class in this school is very basic for I live in a French country.
Second I think that it will be quite fun seeing other people's writing styles and compare how a person's style is different to mine or to others.
Lastly, I really want to write and I want to read in a community because my area, where I live, is seriously lacking of any literary activities, both in English and in French and I think it will be a great idea to connect our writing styles, ideas, perception through the internet, through this forum because of our anonymity. What I mean by anonymity is that here a writer can be judged with his/her writing and not with his/her appearance. I know for one because my French teacher criticized one of my semi-autobiographical writing as too westernized and not enough Filipino-ish (which I think is stupid considering I live in Switzerland...).
