In love with a dead man,
I have seen him in the text
I know nothing of his face
His voice is only a speculation
But his mind,
Is transcribed on paper
His words,
Carved into the walls of my heart
He is immortal,
If only in my mind

An interesting poem on how it is possible to "fall for" people simply be reading or hearing them without ever seeing them. I'm guessing this isn't uncommon for people who love literature, seeing as it is so much a form of communication already.

'Through reading them, their words that come from within their heart and soul, even if some is fiction, you sense and feel the real person, do not need to visualise the face to know your heart!'
Like the quote of Carl jung

I have never read that quote but you are correct, the sentiment is very much the same.

I enjoyed this poem very much. I have always felt that the words we leave behind can stop time in its tracks. From beyond the grave we still communicate with our words - their power undiminished, and the emotions they can bring out of us are the same as if they were still alive. I think you captured that here.
