i am struggling with Julius Caesar and need help as my exams are approaching.
i have been given empathy questions which are;
Q1. You are Brutus. After hearing about Cassius death, write your thoughts.
i am also struggling with Village by the Sea by Anita Desai the question is;
Q1. You are Lila at the end of the novel, thinking about the experiences you have had and how times have changed during the few months. write your thoughts.
both the questions are of 15 marks and need a lot of detail. I know the text well but my teacher says i need help.......
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!

Don't wish to seem churlish but no one can give you help with your thoughts. If you know the play you will know how Brutus felt about Cassius and the depth of their friendship. How he must realise that his conspiracy is bound to fail. That if he lives he will be taken prisoner and publically disgraced and probably killed. He suspects that his dreams of stopping a dictatorship have failed. He may reflect that men of honour may be overcome by men of power. He tried to save Rome from becoming a dictatorship and he failed.

Sorry but I haven't read it.
But do what the exam suggests...put yourself in the place of the character and imagine what her feelings and thoughts would be. You know the text, you say...so let your imagination do the rest.
