Hi,

This is my latest poem. It's a satirical piece of writings and I hope all of you enjoy...!!

“The King's Arse”
By Ali Makki
Aka
Amylian

Showered were the bullets, at us, predating the flesh
And from mass cried the women and wailed
So Sorrow felt ashamed and away we all hailed.

Amongst the shattered ruins, Prayers propelled
To the supreme heaven, and the tyrant wobbled
Like a desert lizard whose tail needs to be sliced off.

The Jailhouse has finally breathed Bahraini’s perfumes,
For the jailers never used to bathe and nasty smell
Lurked and spouted. Oh magicians, upon them, cast a spell.

They ask you at checkpoints your religious background
And if they ever spotted what they don’t like about you
At once, prepare for a hell of a beating, as time flow by

You are interrogated. Why have you gone to Pearl Square?
You play dumb, pretend not to know, you say “huh, where?”
They don’t smile at you; they curse you and hatefully stare.

Question comes to mind, “Laaaaaaaaish”1 it is.
They answered me: they say this world is all his.
Say whaaaaaat? Why? Like me, he’s got a butt!
They answered: Blasphemer. Unlike you, it’s hot.
You pervert, how dare you say that to your King?
One answered: in my arse, once, he lost his ring.
So?
He answered: He searched for it. And I touched it.

1- "Laaaaaaaaaaish" means "Why" and it is how I say it personally in Arabic to make fun of someone.

Regards,
Ali aka Amylian

Well I like the last stanza very much. I was torn between accountability and magical attributes here which left going in and out of reality, which was rather effective.
