The ads for it hasve been showing before my online matches on QuakeLive. I'm not keen on that kind of fighting game though. I prefer the first person shooters with a bit of a story.

This new Mortal Kombat has a story mode that I find pretty entertaining. It's very tacky and full of cheese-ball dialogue, which is quite perfect for it. I'm kind of sick of all the dire, dead-serious, end-of-the-world stories in games now. I like a little levity every now and then before I go back to Mass Effect.

I've been trying to get through The Void which is so out of this world and head-spinning that I no longer recommend it to anyone unless they really want to try something that pushes their synapses beyond the very limits of comprehension - I'm not talking down is up, I'm talking Square Magenta Pineapples is Church Organ...

Difficult - not impossible - and it makes Bulletstorm look like a glass of lemonade
