I agree with almost all the comments that would have liked to see Laurie with Joe rather than Amy. It seemed like their charcters (joe and laurie) were so well painted that one would naturally wish them to be together. On the other hand one does not have a good idea of Mr.Bhaer's character. <br>It does seem like Laurie proposed to amy to make up for the void that Jo created and I did not appreciate his character in that.<br>Overall an awesome book and Jo is my heroine and beth a sweetheart!
