Divine intervention is phrase used when people have no faith in their life. Really you could argue that in consequences of events that bring the divine situation to a conclusion. For example Child know right and wrong but become teenager does push their luck of the experience, with drug or drink problem. Sometime it know that you need to stop and wanting to stop before destroy everything you have. Also it can be when someone show consequences of your actions.

Divine life is life you had as child and what you want make life to be now as adult. Path is a choice what pattern you make and knowledge you keep and cherish. Different path might lead you stray from everything you have or need because distraction of the addiction draw you, personality and body in. Recover is those want or need to be free to the divine situation with divine intervention to save them.

Hi zoo,

I'm not sure whether you meant 'divine intervention' - where some superior being takes over control of your life (for better generally - rather than for worse). There are many people who have reached a low point before claiming to have 'seen the light' and been saved.

Life is filled with temptations, and when one's childhood is less than ideal the only means of escape would seem to be drink or drugs or seeking thrills with others who have suffered the same upbringing. But personally I don't think there's a so-called divinity up there playing puppet-master with humanity, waiting to take over the wheel and steer you back onto the right track if you go adrift.

Many 'teenage delinquents' or whatever you want to call them reach a point where they suddenly see sense, are able to cope with their difficulties and make something positive of their lives. Occasionally they meet someone who is key to their recovery, or a touch of 'good luck' helps them turn the corner. But it's each individual's determination and willpower that's the key at the end. Some have it and are able to save themselves - and unfortunately some don't.

Interesting piece from someone who writes as if they've been there.....
