laurie and jo werent ment to be, if they were jo would of relized it. the only thing i didn't like was that she was to sympathitic to beth, although it shows you that she can be sentimental. it was out of character for her to wait and let something slowly invade her life and her sister.
Nadine, I agree with you completly. Jo wasn't what Teddy needed and he wasn't what she needed. I loved Mr. Bhaer and think it was perfect match.

What are you all talking about? Louisa May Alcott made it so that Laurie married Amy for a very good reason. Perhaps none now can actually say why, but as a fan of her very popular books you should try an see that. I rather like it that Jo married Mr Bhaer. It's more in Jo's character to do so... imagine how she would have felt going to banquets and letting Laurie parade off someone who thought herself to be unattractive. I respect Louisa May Alcott as an author, and I think she made the perfect choice. Believe me, at first I was a little disturbed, but it all made sense when the novel concluded.
