Black space turned silver as the cylindrical craft rounded the planets shadowed corner. Shining space dust and debris silently floated in the wake of the spaceship, revolving away in the space eddies. Eager faces peered from the portal window, eyes widened as the planets surface became clear. Far below formations of rippling stone spread away from steaming chasms. The stony alien land on this strange planet looked like the surface of a lake during a rain shower frozen in time. Ripples and raindrop splashes in huge granite proportions.

Enjoyed it, especially the imagery and the soft repetitive use of words beginning with "s" / "c" & "d." Interesting technique.

thank you sir,

imagery has always been something i've had to quell in order to let the story come to the surface, but i've recently just given up and i'm letting the imagery do its own dancing.
