where it has been
scientifically validated
that Spaniards prefer
horse faced lovers,
(you see it in their daughters),
and Justin Bieber's mom's hair
catches fire.

Nonplussed
by these assertions,
and not guilty, by their association,
I can only shoulder my load
and move on.

The first stanza is much better than the second. The joke aka slam about the Spainards was amusing, but then I'm not Spanish. I guess one could substitute any nationality, as the medieval folks used to refer to the "English Disease" which was the same as the "French Disease" depending on the country in which the person was writing or speaking.

I don't know if we'd want to immortalize Justin Bieber in verse, or for that matter, the woman who gave him birth.

Your second stanza is abstract in that it doesn't really connect to the first stanza, which does have specific images.

Ugh Justin Bieber.... I like the last stanza chiefly because the first stanza contains examples of endless trivia and garbage fed to us via medias and in the end all you can do is carry on.

My thought is that you should never give thought to upsetting anybody in what you write. If you had called Jerrybaldy errmm bald, or an English twat, or as poetic as the phone book, I am sure I would survive and trying not to upset people is the best way to write the most banal ****e you could ever muster. People and even religions can survive and both deserve to be ripped to pieces at every opportunity. Aunt shecky and Bar were born to have the piss ripped out of them. Political correctness needs a good seeing to and not so much as a cuddle afterwards.
