“All men have the stars, but they are not the same things for different people."

What do you think of this quote? : )

I'm trying to find 3 arguments for an essay (in French, though lol) and I found this quote the one that stood out to me.

One example I can think of is when the little prince visits the other planets, he questions why those people do what they do. For example, why does the businessman own that many stars? Why does the drinker drink?
HIS interpretation of life is different than their's. Im not sure how to word it better, but any further help would be appreciated : )

I love the quote and I love the story "The Little Prince". I have read it many times and seen the movie version (quite good as well). It's so insightful and so beautifully written. I think it sums up the idea of a child's simplistic and pure thinking as opposed to that of an adult. The Little Prince is wise in a unique way and he has clear-sightedness, whereas adults minds are cluttered, thus their perceptions are marred and obscured by obstacles. The Little Prince sees things simply - the one man owns too much - what will he do with all that? He sees the pure logic in it as adults can no longer do.

I will think more on the subject but for now this is what I could come up with. I have to go out so I didn't have much time to express my thoughts. Hope this helps.

"You're beautiful, but you're empty.... No one could die for you."

One of my favorite quote from the book.
