I read this book for summer reading for eleventh grade. I really enjoyed the book, because it was very captivating and amazing. I enjoyed reading it from Raskolnikov's point of view instead of Porfiry's. To really enjoy this book, you must make it through the first one hundred pages (which seem like useless information at the time), because everything that is told is necessary and you will find it enjoyable. The names do get confusing at first but after reading a while you learn who is who.
