Creepy book! At times I couldn't put it down. The book really made a psychological effect on me. I would find myself coming up with perverse ideas and looking at the world cynically after reading into Raskolnikov's mind for a few hours. <br> <br>I loved the competition b/w Raskalnikov and the investigator, to see who can play the most brilliant game of cat and mouse. Watching Raskolnikov get twisted into a paranoid schizo, all because the investigator kept him on the string and did not arrest him, was disturbing.<br><br>
