Hi, i'm 15 years old and started to learn in depth about the Middle Ages (Medieval Times) in school, this is the topic in history that i place most of my interest in. I'm looking for a book that is 200-1000 pages with vocabulary that isn't all too complicated for a typical 15 year old. I would like this book to show in detail medieval life, church life, city life, wars, crusades, etc. Please recommend me a book that is amazing. Thank You!

For one of my undergraduate medieval history classes, my professor assigned us a textbook called Medieval Europe: A Short History (http://www.amazon.com/Medieval-Europe-History-Judith-Bennett/dp/0073385506/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1300841576&sr=1-1) by Judith M. Bennett. For a history text, it's a pretty quick read - only about 350 pages.

Edit: I wouldn't call this the best medieval history text out there, but I think it's appropriate for an advanced high school student / typical college student.
