Any members here? I just recently was invited, so if anybody's been wondering where I've been. . .

For those who don't know, Karagarga is a movie torrent website which exclusively hosts art house, foreign, cult, experimental and classic films and it's known as a gold-mine of rare films cinemaphiles hunger for. It's a private tracker (meaning you can only access it if you're invited) and it's infamous for its strict rules and willingness to ban disobedient members, though in reality it's rather lenient for a private tracker.

I don't mind if this thread turns into a debate on intellectual property and copyright laws, etc. I just don't know if I'll be participating.

Nah, I'm not a member of any private trackers, I tend to just use demonoid or piratebay.

I'll invite you when I earn some invites. You'll wanna join. . . .

It has everything (not everything but you know). Even for films that are on pirate bay, the seeds are a lot better (I say this in regards to rare films that only one person seeds on PB).

I was invited a week ago so I haven't spent all of my time there :D

Sounds like a pretty cool site. But between my favorite videostores (Cinefile, Eddie Brandt's, Vidiots, Rocket Video, Odyssey), I rarely hit a movie I can't find. So I'll try to keep it legal as long as I can. I'll have to tell my friend about it though.
