The cream on the top of the milk
poured on cornflakes
gave me more pleasure
than your lesbian act.
My sherbet
and its dib dab
tingled more than
than the lines
on your make up mirror.
A game of catch
with my dead dad
was purer than your
magical dust.
Lend me your razor
we can go halves
on yesterdays
and todays
and cut a fine line
for tomorrow.

I love your statements, your comparisons, your brutal truths, your tragic pain, your cutting wit, your poor taste, your powerful imagery and especially your reminders of yesterday and today.

Sometimes you reside in a very dark place. But your poetry is wickedly enticing...

See, this is why we need jerryness. You are zero pretension and that is so damn (are we allowed to say damn?) refreshing. Thank you thank you. Stay gritty, or whatever your stuff is.

This is the best poem I've read in weeks. Like love, I cannot explain why.

Thank you both Lumiere and deryk. Reading your comments makes me want to write. For better or worse.
