I don't think you'll find a copy of it online, the author died in 1970 and is german. I think german works enter the public domain 40 years after the author's death, so in 2010 it'll be legally available.

I have read the book and I would definentally advise you to read it. It is one of the most moving, emotional books I have ever read and I particularly liked the fact that although it is written by someone personally involved in World War 1 he manages to remain nuteral and he is clearly unaffected by propaganda from either side. Unfortunently I don't know where you can read it online, but I think it's worth the cost to buy it.

I read All Quiet on the Western Front. It was an awesome book. As a military/history fiction reader, I can honestly say that it was one of the moer moving books, that I have read, because it deals more wiht his mind and thoughts than the actions taking place. I don't know where to find it online, but it is well worth the money to buy it.
