... I wish a very happy International Women's Day, especially to those who may rule the world someday. I wish you would spare a place for me when such a day comes, if you don't mind me asking. It would be much appreciated, and I wouldn't mind if you get rid of the trash... trash males, that is :p

ah, thank you... We'll think about that when the world is finally a better place when we rule it because we 'think of the children' (in the words of The Simpsons).

That said, you may join us on that glorious day if you go to the doctor and become one :D

You'll be needing someone to get spiders out of the bath. (It's my one remaining essential role in our house.)

And for knocking nails into the wall for pictures (though when I last did that I blew the electrics out in the kitchen - I swear this is true, had to get a man round).

haha, in our house, we are both sissies and wait until the spider has disappeared... Other bugs are fine though, my hubby gets them or at least looks at them and then gets scared :p. I don't even dare to come into the room... :svengo:

Now that is something we can both do, even drill, put a plug in and then put a screw in... and without blowing anything like electrics, gas or water. But I let my hubby do it because then he feels he's the man :D.

That said though, we had one water leak in the central heating (thank God not in any of the other tubes)... Guess what? Made by the guy who came to put a window in (hole and everything) and who drilled through the wall and then straight into the tube... So that's men for you.
To be fair, though, he couldn't have known that there was a tube anyway.
And then I, by myself, had to figure out where the leak was 'cause hubby was not thinking straight. :rolleyes5:
Had to do the same yesterday with what turned out to be a dirty dishwasher... Hubby was going to call the plumber. When I asked him what the bloody hell a plumber was going to do to a dishwasher that wasn't washing properly, he did not know and went silent...

Ok, that's enough now... :p
