They say the Bible is the word of God,
Yet people quote Shakespeare more oft than he;

Is Shakespeare really quoted more often than the Bible? I could believe it, but if so, how did anyone find this out?

Yeah; I found it on the oxford english dictonary website a while back. He's quoted like 1.3x more, and Hamlet is the most quoted piece of literature in the world. Lol

Edit: I think that's counting each book in the Bible as a separate piece of literature.

Alexander Pope is quoted even more often than Shakespeare, surprisingly. A great and enjoyable "testament"! I may have to quote you in the future.
