Genesis chapters 1 & 2
(1)In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.(2) The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.
For a long time, I have found the first two chapters of chapter 1 to be very moving. The sheer imagery of it perhaps, is what I find to be so interesting. There is something profound and universal about it really. The creation is one of the main passages that I can read over and over and not get tired of. I know, I know, I should get more out of how to slaughter an ox according to the standards in Leviticus, but I digress.:smile5:
How about you?
