Dr. Seuss' birthday

Fans the globe over will observe author Dr. Seuss' birthday when it passes by, though he has been gone for over a decade. Dr. Seuss would be turning 107, and is nevertheless one of the bestselling children's authors of all time. Seuss was really born Theodore Seuss Geisel (http://personalmoneystore.com/moneyblog/2011/02/28/dr-seuss-107-birthday/) in 1904. He died in 1991, at the age of 87.

I liked those books as a kid and was very jealous of my friends that had them. I must say that I really remember the artwork for them more fondly though. Seuss was quite the illustrator as well.
