Quite witless,
in a deep trance,
a poor witness
at this distance.
Jetsam,
from some neuron,
flares and fails,
then fires
and frames one.
Life will still
go on, son,
if you notice
that the lotus
blooms again
after an eon.

Especially enjoyed the word craft in:
"a poor witness / at a distance"
You captured it well.

I liked the "notice" and "lotus" rhyme and the message of the last stanza that life goes on after an eon.
Also by the way, I like the "I Croak Therefore I Am" message under your name.

A very interesting rhythm to this one. Nicely done.

Beautiful in form and economy. The stanzas resonate well enough that I didn't even mind the lack of transition.

It flowed and I enjoyed. The lord said 'no' but the reader said 'yes'
