thinking of you

hey, so 'Im just sitting here with my mind on you
wishing we were more than just two
writing up these simple rhymes
and fondly remembering better times
please excuse these words I write
they help me with this horrid plight
you know one day this pain will end
and your broken heart I will mend
I'll leave this awful devil town
and turn this sad world upside down
I'll give those lost souls a hope that is new
but I'll need love and help so I hope you'll come too

For a poetry site its surprisning that a bit of rhyme will always lead to a lack of comment. Its to do with the clash of honesty versus rhyme and as a result and the probable comprimise, you are on a hiding to nothing.
