If you believe in the Christian faith, then why would you discredit it by believing in other gods? To believe in the other gods is to reject Christ and His teachings.

He's right, you know. Jesus was very clear on this. "No one comes to the Father but through me." So as devout as you may be as a Muslim or a Jew, as caring and loving as you may be as an atheist, as moral and as selfless as you may be as a Wiccan, you're not going to make it. Heaven is closed to you. And, incidentally, you're not allowed to hedge your bets by believing in a selected handful of them.
Harsh, possibly. Ungenerous, certainly. But it's His dad's universe and He can do what He likes.

Eclectic a la carte belief to me, is more difficult to prove than faith in one religion. For you to believe that you are right, you would have to believe that more than one specific religion is correct in doctrine and belief. What basis is there that there is more than one correct belief and how can others know that? The Baha'i believers put forward an interesting analogy of spider webs, where the "strings" lead to one point. I can't say whether or not such a thing is right or wrong, but I think the burden of proof is harder if you believe in more than one religion, as opposed to just one.

If what you mean, mdppptro, is a non-evangelical tolerance toward other faiths, a willingness to learn as well as express your own positions, knowing that these other believers are not going to hell for their beliefs, then I think what you would be doing is what most Christians believe and practice now. At least I don't have to deal with Christians trying to convert me and I would if that were not the case.
Regarding whether all of these faiths are "true" or not, I hold a belief that there is no spiritually privileged position. That is, not only is there no way for me to objectively tell if I am right or not, but if there is any overriding consciousness that is friendly toward us it is friendly toward ALL of us, whatever we believe or don't believe.
