Hi there,
I wondered if anyone can help?
When I was a child, my Grandmother used to recite a poem to me about dress pins (she was a seamstress) it used to go something like this:
What becomes of all the pins, does anybody know, where all the rows of pins have gone and why they always go..?..............???......... why to fairyland, where fairy homes are made.........???????? each one must bring back a pin or two by dawn to fairyland before they let them in.
Can anyone fill in the gaps or let me know who wrote it and where I can find the complete version? I would love to teach it to my daughter. Many thanks!
