Rather pretentious - the premise of having someone conduct a dialogue with themselves is not exactly original. But the way you structured and developed it was merely annoying rather than entertaining.

I think you are trying to be clever rather than give us something to explore and engage with. No doubt you had great fun coming up with this but it didn't translate into anything memorable for me I'm afraid.

A little nonsensical, in the tradition of Lewis Carroll.

I get confused reading this sort of format and I wonder where it is all supposed to lead. While it is fun to dialogue like this, one must ask how long a readers attention can be held. Perhaps embed this device within a narrated piece in small blocks?

It's difficult to consider any generalized idea like conducting dialogue with oneself original anymore, so the application is more vital than the actual idea (although of course the idea should be interesting nonetheless).

Regardless, rather than an attempt at being clever which was a bit of an unnecessary detail (actually maybe the entire second paragraph was unnecessary but who am I to judge?), I would describe it as an unrefined attempt. Certainly this was more to pass the time than anything, and that might be a bad thing, but I am unconcerned.

Either way, I find it completely unsurprising that there was little warm reception. While there are details I thought could be mildly interesting in the story I didn't give any enough thought to develop. Some of the lines just don't sound good to me because I didn't think enough about what I wanted to say, and I felt like I wanted to give it a somewhat erratic structure but instead of thinking out how I just moved on when I was thinking about something different.

At some point I felt like quoting some slightly British movie's lines about me being a name I call myself, but the idea never really came out so I just moved on.

All in all, you're probably correct in thinking that this was more to entertain myself than you. If that offends you somehow or goes against some rules some admin put up here, or you have some other problem, I can easily take it down. I've had my fun.

If I could occasionally entertain myself throwing something down here (don't worry, hopefully something more structured than this), then maybe I will, but if I'm not welcome, that's fine too.

May your dreams come true,

P.S. Is there a delete thread function? Oh well. It may be a bit irresponsible of me but I guess I'll have to leave it to you people.

1) you are welcome here - so don't take offence that the comments were rather negative and

2) you've figured out how to remove most of the evidence I see - will look forward to your next posting
