Hi qim. I love this poem: Alice in Wonderland meets the War of the Roses... Just kidding, it's really evocative of the creative process. Incidentally, although I've seen kingfishers flitting round rock pools on the coast, Ive never seen one soar over the ocean :D A reference to the Ancient Greek belief that the Halcyon Bird lived out at sea perhaps.
