Are you familiar with Merrill Jenkins' works on the "Money Issue"? I am looking for more information and discussion about this topic.

Mostly, I want to know if anyone has information debasing his books or findings. They seem very interesting and nearly impossible to dismiss.

Try What Has Government Done To Our Money? by Murray Rothbard, Capitalism and Freedom by Milton Friedman, and The Theory of Money and Credit by Ludwig Von Mises. Those are some that I've read. You can also try Ron Paul books, though most of them are collections of essays and speeches that he's written.

There's a lot more great books on this subject, more from these authors and also from other ones. These books generally support what Jenkins said though, I wouldn't really be able to tell you if anyone's de-bunked what he said.

I'm also an economics buff but I'm just a dilettante. I can tell you that there is a massive amount of information on this topic out there.
