Well as this is the introduction forum you can probably make an educated guess at whats coming...

Hi i'm new here. I'm in my first year at uni (uwe, in the uk) I'm 22 so probably described as a mature student though I don't think my conduct would support the claim :L

As you can tell from the title finding the uni experience a little overwhelming and feeling pretty un-educated and under read to be honest; which is why i'm here to soak up all you teachings like a sponge, so I hope that's ok.

Not really sure what to say about my self, as far as things you might like to know. I am unashamed to admit that I think Terry Pratchet is the modern living God of satire and parody. Currently reading, Peter Pan - the play version, Conrad's Heart of Darkness, Tom Stoppard - Arcadia, Cormac McCarthy - All the Pretty Horses (slight lie i havn't started it yet :( ) and for pleasure I am re-reading The Kite Runner.

Hoping to start a little blog to document my progress through my degree as I like the idea of it being the best form of an extroverts diary.

Expect to see me soon posting foolish questions and hopefully joining in a few disscusions.

After that wall of text i'll sign of for now. Sorry for the life history!

Thanks
