Search yielded no results, going though the thread pages yielded nothing.

This was a nice discussion! Why the deletion?:flare:

Books on certain specific authors and books often get moved to the sections entitled Discussions of Certain Authors and Books. Check under Jane Austen, click on Pride and Prejudice and you'll find it there. You can use New Posts search to keep appraised of new posts there.

Ahhhh........ Thanks. I thought it was deleted because of disparaging remarks toward the Grateful Dead.

My baddy, sorry.

No problem. I don't think threads are regularly deleted from these forums, though they may be closed/locked, but then they do stay where they are... And that's usually because there has been a breach in forum rules.

At any rate, it is a bit weird that it really disappeared, because normally it stays with a 'moved'-tag on it...

You should see the slagging off of Harry Potten, Dan Brown and the like on here! Surely, an opinion is worth noting, isn't it? We do not close down threads for that, though you may be slagged off if we think you are not giving it enough thought. ;) Which you certainly have done.

So, let the discussion recommence...

...in the other thread :)

Okay. After much deliberation and consideration, you may close down this thread. Dan Brown sleeps with goats!

Hey, TacoButt (seriously, your name still makes me chuckle), always click the "New Posts" link at the top of the page. I didn't start using it until about 200-or-so posts ago, and man is it convenient. With that, it doesn't matter where a thread is moved to, it will be there if someone's posted in it since your last visit.

Thanks for the tip! I've never noticed that button before.

My screen name comes from a little restaurant I go to. As I finished paying the check one day, the waitress handed me my reciept and change and said, "See ya! Take care, bud."

I said, "What did you say, I'm sorry..."

"Take care, bud..."

"Ah," said I. "I thought you said, 'see ya, Taco Butt.' I thought perhaps you give all the regulars here a little nickname."

She laughed to the point of choking and said, "Yeah, sure! Over there by the window is ol' 'Omelet Pants.'" :smilielol5:

Anyway, thanks again for the pointer. :)
