For John Knox.
Who knocks John?
I do
On the First Blast
of the Trumpet
on the Monstrous
Regiment of Women
quoth he,
It be unnatural to
suffer women who
would teach or usurp
the authority
of men
What an age old hoot
that a man
with a toot
thinks he owns a horn.

I liked this poem very much because it remind of few people I know in life.

He may think he owns one but even if he's right, he's got the logistical problem of how to blow it...

Ha ha, you crack me up, Prince.
I like the way you used the font to your advantage.

Yes it's so typical of Prince to blow his trumpet like this!

I used the font? You mean italicizing "think"? You are an interesting bird. Ms Adventure!

ok.
this is s case
where I blast mr own bleeding trumpet
why do men get the credit for a woman's piece of poetry?
What is the second blast of the trumpet? (Smugness by John Knox as he witness from the grave his theory that man is supreme proved right here on lit-net!)
Am I upset? No (coz Prince is God and everyone knows he is a male!)

I can see a follow-up poem on its way - watch out Prince!

I think everyadventure is referring to your toot Prince!
But how and where does my "toot" enter into (no pun intended!) this discussion?

"He may think he owns one but even if he's right, he's got the logistical problem of how to blow it..." I said "You crack me up, Prince," in reply to this comment.
The poem itself didn't crack me up, although I did have a good smirk over it.
