I'm fairly new to the world of short stories and I'm wanting to "spread my wings" - as it were!

I'm starting to write more short stories than long novel-length stories and am still trying to find my feet. Any advice is extremely welcome!

Would this forum be an appropriate / inappropriate place to post a link to my blog, where I've put up a couple of my short stories for public comsumption? I'm really keen to get opinions and share thoughts on different styles.

Welcome to the forum! You can post short stories in the short story area. There is actually a contest going on right now. If you can keep your mouth shut for an entire year and not tell anyone that you've entered--you can enter a story and possibly win $300. The rules are also located in the Short Story area. The forum also allows you to have a blog here.
