I'm currently starting this again (I started it a while ago but got sidetracked) and so far I think it's fantastic. Of course it's short and extremely violent (which such a subject as the Mexican revolution would tend to be) but it's also very engaging. I don't have a lot to add right now I just wanted to post this because to my knowledge I've never read any thing by a Mexican author.
