Hello everyone!
My name is Vance and I'm from Oklahoma, US. I stumbled across this site just this morning after getting into an argument over how Karamazov is pronounced with a coworker of mine. It wasn't necessarily an argument over who was right, but just whether or not either of us were correct.
I'm a full time student and a full time worker going towards an English Education degree, although that may change due to the work schedule to a straight English degree. I'm taking a few interesting courses this semester, 19th Century Transitional Russian Literature and History of the English Language. I've got two others but they're not as much fun to talk about.
Recently I asked my girlfriend of two years to marry me; she said yes! We haven't set a date yet, but she wants to get married before the world ends in 2012 (she is joking).
My favorite book is A Brave New World by Aldous Huxley and Animal Farm by Orwell. Two simple books I know but since I could read them over and over and not tire of them. I recently rid myself of all the fantasy books that I read when I was younger except a few favorites, namely the Raymond E. Feist novels.
That's a bit about me, I'll answer any questions any one has if you guys have any.
