Hello I'm Jess, I was referred here by a helpful hand off yahoo questions when i couldn't find a certain book that's been driving me nuts. I'm kinda confused as to where i should go on this page to post a question about a mystery book I've been seeking out from my childhood.

I'm trying to find an extremely old book about a young orphan girl and a spinning top. She blacks out everytime she spins the top and she cant remember her past and i think when she blacks out she must say disturbing things cause she gets unadopted a few times when she does this. It's a murder mystery. I cant for the life of me remember the name or author of this book. I remember bits of the story. It was originally a cast off of older books no one read in my (now destroyed) old middle school. The librian gave it to me with some other books that no one ever read but it was actually a very very interesting book but somewhere along the way it has vanished in all my moving around and i wish to find it again but i cant seem to recall the title. If anyone could help that would be great. All i can remember about it is written here and that it was very old book. Please help?

Thanks ^_^ i was beginning to think no one would respond. I dont know if posting this forum will help. No one seems to notice it's even here. :prrr: , so my chances of reuniting with my book seems pretty slim but i appreciate your responce.

Hi
This is the introductions section and most people don't seem to frequent these threads, so if you want to find a specific book you might get a reply if you post the question on the General Literature section. Most members who are very versed in books and such are more likely to notice your question if you post it there :)
The replies you get depend very much on where you post the question
Other than that, be very welcome.
