Tonight when you and I were walking we ended up passing thru the field and down the path, thru the woods.

I started to run and you yelled, “Don’t run…wait up!” I could see the cold frost coming from your words.

The deep snow making it hard to maneuver; I laughed and so did you as you chased after me…each of us trying to keep our balance. I slipped and fell to my knees into the deep snow and then rolled on my back and you followed landing on top of me.

We both laughed and then suddenly there was silence and you stroked my face and my eyes sparkled with the moon light and glint from the snow. You kissed me softly and every thing went into a warm state.

Your hand traced my forehead, across my eyes, caressing my lips and then gently wrapped itself around the back of my neck and lifted me for a passionate kiss.

The snow started to melt beneath us. Suddenly you knelt up and pulled me up to your broad chest, I could feel you reading my soul. “let’s go” you whispered…”we have a long way to travel and I don’t want to miss a second of it!”

Have you ever noticed how the snow has a sparkle, perhaps call it a twinkle to it? What do you think that means?

As the start of a longer piece this is promising..... I felt the chemistry between the two characters, the magic of the snowscape and the sense that they were on a journey (not necessarily a geographical one).

But as a stand-along piece it doesn't really deliver very much. It's a bit like one of them blogs people rattle off every single day of their llives that make one wonder why ever they feel the need to share.

A pleasant enough start but..... where's it heading? Only you can tell us.

This was more like a vignette , and a thought. I was fun for as far as it went. Good descriptions and tone.

H ~ thank you for taking the time to comment. Yes I do tend to write good starters... (I think)

I had just come in from walking Zeus and it was just a dream caught in my psychic and I needed to do something with it; and here it is.

Just wait to I do finish a story! Best Seller!!! Guarantee it!
