shards of ambient light filled his eyes
pride and joy filled his vains
and his heart beat honor instead of blood

love, that's what it was.
that's who she is.
she showed him love.
she showed him everything else
without effort not even constraint

like unending waves and constant gushes of the wind.
they burst out into space like comets trailing light
moving through space and time never to stop

they found eternity in each other
they were beautiful
like the crsytals in the ocean at sunset
and the rainbow after hard rain.

the girl was and is a blessing
to the boy who was turned into a man.
to a man that once suffered.
to the man that once lost all..
but now has everything
he gained love and life.

his happiness moves
like an unsettling skipped stone.
he is happy like never before.

haven't thought of a title yet

I was almost stopped cold by your use of "ambient" - a word surely never used except if poems! - and my aversion was somewhat reinforced by your use of "honour" (such an abstract thing, if athing at all), but

but I'm glad I persisted to the end of this innocent tribute to first love. The "unsettling skipped stone" was my favourite image in this.

well, if you look at this world you will find that everything is so very abstact if anything at all.... who can tell if all we see or seem is but a dream within a dream... who can?
whatsoever... I miss just a little melody .. but then I'm a melody freak... write complete crap as long as you give it al nice melody I will love it..
but name your child... even if the title is "untitled" that's fine (at times that is even brilliant...) but things need a name to tell what they are ... think of a name just to please me if you would be so kind :)

I was rather taken with the romance element to it. I can't imagine shards of ambience though. I liked

love, that's what it was.
that's who she is.
she showed him love.
she showed him everything else
without effort not even constraint

as it it was a fumbling discovery that becomes more sure as it travels.
