We tumble together
like flowers drifting
from the highest tree branches.
We roll,
circle each other, play chase
side to side in a windy netting,
our pink-white hues-
see-through in holy sunshine.
Just for now we'll tumble together,
swirl and flick our edges,
overlap and color those hues.
Just for now, we'll tumble together;
we already know that we must eventually
fall apart.
like flowers drifting
from the highest tree branches.
We roll,
circle each other, play chase
side to side in a windy netting,
our pink-white hues-
see-through in holy sunshine.
Just for now we'll tumble together,
swirl and flick our edges,
overlap and color those hues.
Just for now, we'll tumble together;
we already know that we must eventually
fall apart.
