View Full Version : How happy the dead being remembered
How happy the dead being remembered
Lying in the cemetery surrounded by green field
Year after year blooming flowers over the grave
No matter how much ages pass away
Or wherever it is, there
His name the people would never forget
But those no one recalled
Unknown during their lifetimes
Long lonely after death

Mhmm.
Interesting piece - does it follow that being an unknown (presumably not famous) during one's lifetime means you end up un-remembered after death? I wonder.
Food for thought, yuka - and thanks for sharing,
H
I beg your pardon?
in-teresting!
oh, how sadly i am now!(why i am not a english-native speaker :banghead:)
that proved again i didn't translate well.(if this piece is interesting)

'Interesting' means that it got my attention, made me think a little more about what you were saying. So that's a good thing surely.
What did you think I meant??

I like the last two lines the most personally.
oh and of course I liked the reply "want to cry yet have no tears". That is poetic in itself. Thank you for sharing your poem.
If interesting wasn't what you wanted to convey, then what did you want the poem to mean? Just curious

and what did you think i meant???::lol:
you know what?
hummingbirds sometimes chasing furiously the birds twenty times bigger than them, and repeatedly pecking at the birds, let the birds carrying them flying until their trivial anger cooled down
and may i quote one proverb i learnt couple days ago here for further reply?:
one man may steal a horse while another may not look over a hedge??
(hoho, dont know if it fit to quote this here? would you mind to tell me? )

thank you Shadow for your read and comment.
and as for your curious, hehe, that's just a joking. i made a little revenge on Hill owing to his making a comparison of me to a tiny bird.

Ah, so your response to my response is the hummingbird's revenge. Now I see.....
and "One man may steal a horse while another may not look over a hedge"
sounds too enigmatic for me to make very much sense of - unless it means that some are allowed to get away with committing a crime, but others are not even allowed to do what is their right. Please enlighten me.....
H :-)
