I'm sure many of your are fans of the LOA hardcover series -- the ones that look like this:

Beautiful books. And though they aren't exactly cheap, the high-quality paper is so thin that they can cram enough in each book to make it an excellent value.
They've done some great authors, but there are sooo many more they could do. So if the choice was yours, what American author--or maybe theme--would you choose next.
Personally, I'd love to have the collected works of Cormac McCarthy on my shelf right next to those of Faulkner, matching hardcovers in elegant black. That would be awesome.
