I'm currently studying 1984 in my English class, and I've become convinced that Julia is in fact an agent of the Thought Police, exactly as Winston suspects at first...I feel like there are plenty of indicators in the book (how she can get hold of Inner Party things like chocolate and coffee, how she seems very knowledgeable about hidden microphones and telescreens around London). Does anyone agree with this or am I on my own?
