Recommendations please!

I recently finished The Secret History - a book which I have previously made a thread about. At first, I didn't like it.. but it now rates as one of my all time favourite novels. I absolutely adore it.

I was wondering if any of you knew of any work similar to it? I found the characters to be so incredibly well written, very complex and detailed, I was reading that it comes under the category of "campus literature" or something to that effect? Due to its setting.

Any recommendations would be great thanks

Ivo Stourton's 'The Night Climbers' has often been compared to Donna Tartt's novel --- based on what you've said, I think you might enjoy it.
