Hello beautiful people! My older sister just got engaged and as a gift, I got her a compact mirror embellished with precious handiwork. I would like to engrave something literary on the back, but am stumped! I should know better than this having done a BA in English, but alas, I need your help!
If you can think ANY poems or lines on sisterhood, or mirrors, or both (ideal!), I would be overjoyed if you could share it. As an example, I came across the following: "A sister is both your mirror--and your opposite" (E. Fishel), but I don't feel it is meaningful/sentimental enough.
The shorter the line the better as I don't have much room to engrave on the back and I'm still a student so I have to watch my budget (as engravings are by letter!).
Thanks for reading, folks! This is my first post in the Literature Network and I'm excited to have joined. I would be thrilled if you can help me out!
