I'm reviewing some grammar for the SAT, and I just want to be sure. This is an appositive phrase right?

I, even though I didn't want to, went to the store.

Thanks in advance.

This handy book has all you need to know about the parts of speech and rules of grammar.

No, that's a subordinate clause.

An appositive phrase would be something like this:

I, a student studying for her SATs, went to the shore.

I, even though I didn't want to, went to the store.
This is a complex sentence, actually.

If you talking about parts of this sentence, however, as Pip pointed out, "even though I didn't want to" is a subordinate clause while "I went to the store" is the main clause.

Though the others are technically correct, for the purposes of the SAT you can treat the phrase the same way you would treat an appositive. The SAT doesn't test you on the technical terms like "appositive" and "subordinate clause," as long you understand how different phrases function in a sentence.

Far more important than IDing these different parts of the sentence by name is being able to pick out subjects and verbs, and being able to tell what makes a sentence complete. Trust me: I've taught the SAT for the past 5 years, and you're better off not worrying about the terminology.
