This is the most beautiful science fiction saga ever wrote. It is a collection that everyone who enjoys good literature should read. Reviews for all the books from this series here

I thought the ideas in Dune were great. I also like the later series - prequels - done by his son.

His son books were good too, but in my opinion not nearly as good as the originals.

I tried the first book long ago, and while I thought the ideas were interesting, the writing was awfully dry and dull. I'd be curious if anyone who agrees with me about the writing persevered and came to love the book(s) anyway, and why.
