Does anybody here know which edition (publishing house and series) of The Golden Bowl is that whose dust jacket Gregory House uses to cover the book of sermons he's reading in the 15th episode of season 6? It seems to be a Penguin edition, but I can't find it anywhere on the net. The dust jacket also suggests the possibility of the original book, the real volume of The Golden Bowl, being a hardcover edition, which is what really interested me. I hate paperbacks, and the only hardcover edition of The Golden Bowl I know of is the Everyman's Library one.

By the way, this episode is entitled "Private Lives". Here's a capture from it:

No idea, but you could try contact the producers, and ask them :)

Are you sure that edition really exists or could it be a manner of the writer to put an alusion into his work. Don't know the series ( yes, I know), so could be wrong

I don't think it's that easy. I mean, contacting these guys.

Why not? -- worst case would be if they'd ignore you. Anyway, there's a community (http://house.community.fox.com/) you could try. Perhaps there is someone who knows ...

Thanks for the tip. I didn't know there was such a community. I'll ask about this edition there.
